Adventure Motorcycling

During my summer holidays as a child I used to spend time with my Nanna and Grandpa. Grandpa was a haulier and I used to love spending time with him in the transport office and in the yard. While he was busy I used to occupy my time reading maps and finding places. Then when the drivers returned back to the yard I would be out trying to help (probably just in the way though). The drivers would tell me where they had been and then I would be looking for those places on the maps again.

My Dad was also a haulier and I spent many happy weeks during the summer with my Dad. This would involve route planning, out on the roads and working in the yard.

Because of the above I have always been interested in travel, map reading and being out on the open road. Along with my interest in Motorcycling it was only a matter of time before I became passionate about Adventure Motorcycling.
